Interdisciplinary exchange on the challenges of manufacturing NFRP and biocomposites
The development of products based on new resources and processes poses technical and scientific challenges as well as political and economic obstacles.
From 24 to 25 May, the LaNDER³ partnership organized a symposium at the IBZ St. Marienthal Ostritz with the aim of an interdisciplinary exchange on such challenges and obstacles in the production of NFRP and biocomposites.
The main topics of the event were the challenges in the standardization of natural fibres as well as the requirements and developments in research on the production of NFRP and biocomposites. Both speakers and listeners came from industry, science and politics and were thus able to exchange various experiences in the exciting discussions that followed the interesting presentations and explore opportunities for cooperation.
The program can be found in the photo gallery below.
We would like to thank all speakers and guests for the successful exchange and look forward to an equally exciting joint symposium in 2024!
