  • Start of the first two SME projects
  • Increased public relations and networking, concurrently: increased external perception
  • The University joins the Leichtbauallianz Sachsen – the Saxon Lightweight Construction Alliance
  • Inauguration of the interdisciplinary laboratory hall (shared factory) as the LaNDER3 centre for natural fibre technologies with the involvement of international partners (eg the Rector of TU Liberec University) and state politics (represented by State Minister Oliver Schenk and others)
  • Partnership meeting combined with a symposium on additive manufacturing with renewable raw materials (co-organized with the EU-Interreg project AMiCE - Alliance for Advanced Manufacturing in Central Europe)
  • Use of the laboratory hall for transfer events, eg Citizens meet Science
  • Increasing internationalization (Trans3Net networking , preparation of an EU application)
  • Holding of advisory board meetings at company partners (spring: ULT AG, fall: BASF Schwarzheide GmbH)
