LaNDER³ - News

13. October 2021

You have brought the mouse to Zittau!

Thanks to numerous voices, the program "Sendung mit der Maus" recently filmed a report at LaNDER³.

The Mouse, one of the best-known and most successful children's programmes on German television, recently filmed a report on the pioneering research of the Lusatian Natural Fibre Composites, Decentralized Energy, Raw Materials, Resources, Recycling(LaNDER³) partnership. The report on LaNDER³ was part of the special program "Deine Sendung - Türen auf mit der Maus", which can be viewed until the end of October herestarting around the 23rd minute.

What was shown in the special program of the Mouse on the occasion of the participatory campaign "Doors open with the Mouse 2021" was decided by your vote. We reported on this on August 25, 2021. Thanks to your help, the LaNDER³ partnership, together with two other institutions, was able to assert itself in the voting as an interesting future topic/future project.

"We at LaNDER³ are delighted that, thanks to the report in the special Mouse program, we were able to convey knowledge about our research directly into the living room or children's room in an easily understandable way and thus arouse curiosity about future topics." Henriette Uhlig, Project Manager LaNDER³
What is the show with the mouse?

Die Sendung mit der Maus is one of the most successful children's programs on German television. For 50 years, generations of children have been introduced to the world with so-called laughing and factual stories .

Opening doors with the mouse

The HSZG also took part in the "Doors open with the mouse" campaign day. On October 3, 2021, you could play mouse at the HSZG. Under the motto "Hello future", the HSZG, together with many other institutions, opened its doors to children thirsty for knowledge.

"We showed how living and producing with what nature provides could be possible in the future," says Henriette Uhlig. They were able to marvel at natural fibers under a microscope, produce natural fiber-reinforced plastics themselves, solve puzzles on the topic of energy, make smoothies with their own physical strength and sort garbage together with the little blue elephant.

The MDR Sachsenspiegel reported on the event on October 3, 2021.
