The border region between Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic is characterized by a low level of cooperation between science and industry. Therefore, the most important goal of TRANS³Net is to improve the conditions for a well-functioning innovation system in the border triangle. This goal is to be achieved by creating strong ties and self-initiated cooperation between transfer promoters and other actors from science, business and public administration.

By involving all key players relevant to knowledge and technology transfer, TRANS³Net aims to provide a solution that will make it possible to remove the numerous barriers to transnational cooperation between science and industry.
