'Green stuff against the apocalypse' covers a wide range of environmental and climate issues. From renewable energy to sustainable agriculture and green technology, this podcast highlights different aspects of climate protection. It gives you insights into the world of researchers, entrepreneurs and activists working on solutions to environmental problems.
The creation of 'Green Stuff Against the Apocalypse' was not without its challenges. Originally planned as a modest series of 5-7 episodes, the podcast soon gained momentum. Not least thanks to the unstinting support of the Birnbaum Media Lab from Leipzig. Their motivation and exceptional production efforts played a crucial role in the successful production of the podcast.
In the first season, consisting of 19 episodes, we explore the positioning of the HSZG on climate protection and how the HSZG contributes to climate protection together with various professors, lecturers and employees of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. We gain insights into the integrated climate protection concept of the HSZGdiscuss the challenges and solutions of climate anxiety, and explore the importance of sustainable nutrition, municipal climate protection and the role of business in environmental protection. In addition, we look at the possibilities of self-sufficiency in energy and explore innovative approaches such as the use of natural fibers in climate protection.
